জিরা গুঁড়ার ব্যবহার

জিরা (Cumin) গুঁড়া ছাড়া বাঙালির রান্না যেনো অসম্পূর্ণ থেকে যায়। পার্সলে গোত্রের বিরুৎজাতীয় এক উদ্ভিদ Cuminum cyminum এর শুকনো বীজ হচ্ছে আমাদের বহুল ব্যবহৃত এই জিরা। বহুকাল আগে থেকেই রান্না এবং কিছু ঔষধি ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে আসছে এই মসলাটি।
